Soooo...I am supposed to look at my the Personal Inventories of a few of my classmates and write my thoughts on them *fun😐*. In the spirit of being a good/professional student, here are my thoughts a few personal inventories:

Subiksha’s Personal Inventory

I like Subiksha’s website! It is very fun/witty! Navigating the website was a very interesting experience! When I got to her personal inventory, it was very informative. It helped give more clarity into the type of person that she is and why she does the things she does. For example, she talked about her art supplies and how they are very important to her as a person. The revelation about the art supplies made me realize that she values art a lot, especially the ability to create art.

Her other personal inventory items struck chords with me too because I could tell that they came from the heart and those items meant a lot to her. For example, Her star pendant is a reminder of a friend that passed away that always reminded her that she was a star and a physical manifestation of how much she cares for the people around her. Her watch is a landmark piece because it marks the first time that she got herself something ‘big’ with money that she earned.

In general, I like her personal inventory and it really has given me an insight to the type of person that she might be.

Simi Gu’s Personal Inventory

I loved Simi’s personal inventory video! It was cute, fun and just happy. I especially liked the part where she stated that a lot of her things were from IKEA and Amazon so they did not have any personal significance lol.

I totally understand the significance of Janet Graig (her potted plant) and how a person might want to have organic life in their living space. I wanted to get a cat or dog for my apartment but I realized that pets were not allowed in my apartment😢 #sadtimes. Simi takes care of her plant daily and wouldn’t want for anything bad to happen to it, so given that piece of information, I can infer that she is a caring person that likes to care for people in her life.

I also liked the Polaroid camera and the hat. Those are very cool items to have😎. It is also good to be able to take a step back from technology/life, wear a cool hat and take a selfie with a polaroid camera.

Emilie’s Personal Inventory

This personal inventory was short and concise (which is good). She talked about three items in her inventory: Her photo album, laptop and handmade pillow. These items are significant to her because they help to show things that are important/matter to her. For example: The photo album shows that she cares about her friends and family and she likes to document the good times that she spends with them. Her laptop shows different stickers that she likes/ identifies with and it also shows her favourite colour (Tiffany Blue...I didn’t even know that was a colour😕). Her handmade pillow shows the kinds of designs and fabrics that she personally likes but it also reveals something else about her personality that the fabrics/designs do not show you: Emilie is the type of person to make her own pillow😐
